Ocean Floor draws the viewer deep beneath the surface, where shifting tides reveal a world teeming with mystery and movement. Layered with fluid washes of turquoise, azure, and metallic gold, this abstract piece evokes the textures and tones of the seabed—rippling currents, submerged sands, and hidden reefscapes.
With Ocean Floor, I wanted to capture the serenity and depth of the hidden world beneath the sea’s surface. Inspired by the ebb and flow of ocean currents and the quiet complexity of aquatic landscapes, this piece explores movement through colour and form. My fluid art practice allows each pour to guide the direction organically, creating textures that mimic nature’s randomness—much like the ever-changing floor of the ocean.
